Wooden loft ladders are considered the entry-level ladders. These ladders are the cheapest style of ladders that you can get and also the least stylish and normally the lowest quality. They can be purchased at many different retailers or specially made. A loft ladder can be made of a variety of different types of wood at different thicknesses. Typically not completely made of wood, there will be some metal parts and maybe some foam or rubber too.

Even though this type of ladder is the cheapest and lowest quality of the different types they can still be very useful. They will serve their purpose well in an area that is not the center of attention. Typically they will hold anywhere from 300 to 500 pounds. That should be enough to hold most people up as long as they are not carrying anything too heavy. Most things being carried up a set of loft stairs will not be too heavy though. Wooden stairs are both functional and economical.

Wooden loft ladders come in a few different models. There is the kind that unfolds down to be used, and there is the kind that expands like an extension ladder. The kind that folds down is typically cheaper because it requires less hardware. This kind can be a little more tedious to use though. It is much easier to slide down a ladder than it is to unfold it and this is why the extension ladder model is more expensive. If the ladder is not going to be used very much, the unfolding style will probably be fine as both types of the ladder are equally strong.

Wooden ladders, although not as nice as metal or aluminum ladders, are much cheaper and if they are not going to be used very much they will probably suit their purpose just fine.

Wipe Down the Glass At Least Once a Week:

Take that bottle of Windex and that old tattered rag and wipe down the surfaces of your mirrored furniture at least once a week. It only takes a few minutes to do and it will remove all of the dust and grime build up that has landed on your mirrors. Dust can cloud the reflection in a mirror and roaming fingers can leave prints and smudges.

Patch Up Any Scratches:

Not all mirrored furniture is sitting at eye level. Sometimes it will be victim to absent minded feet or the moving of stored items and it will get chipped, scratched, or cracked. If you happen to scratch up your mirror somehow you can easily repair it with some glass sealant.

Replace Broken Panels:

If the damage is beyond the use of simple sealants you can just as easily replace most mirrors on your furniture piece. Just remove the broken piece and order a new one of the exact same size from a glass cutter.

One of the easiest ways to spice up your bedroom is to mix up what you have and do with your closet.  The first thing to do is clean it out, make a few different piles so you can start to manage your belongings.  Set one pile up for those clothes you just don’t wear anymore, either because they are out of style or they just don’t fit.  Next, have a pile for seasonal clothing.  Third, pile things that are usable every day and things you need to get to regularly.  Last, have a pile for shoes, purses, etc.

There’s no need early on to get a new closet organizer, focus on item organization.  So say goodbye to pile one, give them to a thrift store or burn them in effigy!  Just get rid of them!  Next, for seasonal items store them in a plastic bin and put them in the garage or storage unit, there’s no need to have sweaters out during the summer.  Once winter comes you bring in the bin and swap out the clothes.  We’ll hold off on doing anything with pile number three for a moment.  Let’s focus on that last pile.  Get a plastic bin or purse mount to store all those items.  For shoes, get the bin or better yet have a shoe rack that will store nicely.

The idea is to organize and minimize what you have before you go into arranging that last pile.  Use the floor and head space wisely, store evenly and spaciously so your new area doesn’t looked cluttered still.  Finally, take your everyday clothing items and match them up by style and color.  So if you’re a guy dress shirts together, white with white and each blue set up by its closest shade.   This may appear to be overkill, but what it does is allow you to quickly see what’s available and mix and match readily.

If you do want to take it a step further you can look into closet organizers, but you may find that you have everything you need already.
